Well that didnt take long, first mistake!

Went to the LFS asked for Nassarrius snail to turn sand and the guy goes sure I have a "Tiger" Nassarrius right here. Tossed it in the bag. Got it home and in the tank and away he goes buried in the sand. Decided maybe I should just do a quick read up on their care since I had read about Nassarrius but not these "Tiger" ones. Well it's a Babylonian Snail. I dont have any clams but do have some turbos and tons of tiny white almost translucent snails that come out at night. Hopfully he doesn't take them all out. Lesson to be learned? Only buy what you know you want and don't stray from the plan!

Best plan of action is always to hold fire on something until you've researched thoroughly, even if you REALLY want what you see, spend some time first!

Yeah I guess I was just unprepared with people who should know (locally owned fish shop not a petco), not knowing. To me I felt like I went to the store to buy a healthy apple, and got home to find out I bought an apple flavored popsicle.
