Well that escalated quickly!

Build is slowed slighty due to too many good coral sales! My poor nano is going to be stuffed! First the acanlord live sale then aquasd! It's like xmas getting the packages in the mail.

I was just drooling over the WWC corals last night and now they are having a giveaway! Here's my bonus entry!

You're putting a very nice system together and yes, you're getting some great deals!!!

I still need to source the following:

Heaters:
Heater sensor:
Digital Thermometer:

ATO:

Raceway for cable management

Spill sensor

Salt - undecided

Substrate: Haven't decided between the Eden Reeflakes or Mesoflakes. Leaning towards the Mesoflakes. I'm thinking 2 bags will do it.

I'm going to copy this design for my plumbing outlet

I love the swimming space available for the fish.

I think I will try to do it using a 1/2 PVC base armature with a heat gun (outside) covered with live rock rubble and hydraulic cement. That way I will have three large pieces that can be taken out and put in a tub for transport when I eventually move.

Came home and my sump is here. Really happy with it! I like the size, I thought it would be too small but looking at it in the stand I think it's perfect.

And the price was perfect at $80 new.

And tomorrow I will pick up some rock to play with.

Goal for the weekend is to thoroughly clean the tank and to cut down and paint the stand framework.

I'm hoping to get rock curing next week.

Latest score! $60 for some lovely rock. Way more than I need.

Some really nice scape options. Going to have a go tomorrow with a hammer and chisel, some epoxy and hydraulic cement.

Goal is to have three large columns. Looks like it won't be to hard!
