So I'm getting a 40b setup in the garage. I glued my overflow on the other day, drilled it, set it up on the stand, starting putting my plumbing together. I'm starting to get excited at this point. The extra water is mixing and more RODI is being made with my new booster pump. I go to push this PVC elbow together just a little bit more to the other fitting and CRACK! Followed by lots of loud... very loud... expletives. T_T

So... anyone need a freshly cracked, brand new 40b? Great for reptiles! :D

Did the same exact thing to a 10 gallon. Made the stand drilled painted the back installed bulkheads. My plumbing was going through the back of the stand so all the plumbing out of the bulkheads were butted up with the next fitting to keep the span short. Went to use a t to tie 2 lines together and it cracked. The worse part was since the bulkheads were butted so close to the next fitting I couldn't use them again. Well I did any ways I figured a way to get the butted up fitting off.

Haha! Exactly, Chris.

I grabbed another one I had that I thought that I was going to use for something else and it took this one's place. And I was able to successfully set this one up. :)
