Well the nano crashed today!

I just got home 15 minutes ago to find my nano looking like a cloud of soup. As soon as I raised the canopy and felt the rush of heat and moisture I new the tank was hot. Over 100 gegrees. So ive been dumping ice trying to get the temp down. The 150 watt heater was still pumping out the heat to! As of right now it looks like a total loss. except for the pair of clowns who seem to be celebrating the extra swimming room!

Man dude that SUCK!!! :mad: You just can't catch a break lately. Maybe it crashed because your supposed to make it an all acan tank!

Just think of all the fun you'll have restocking! Gotta find the positive.

its so nice of you two to post, thanks guys! and its such a odd coinsidence that you both have alot of cool acans and micros that you like to give to unfortunate reefers that have tanks crash like mine! so ill be coming by both of your houses this weekend to pick up a frag pack to restock my tank! HEHE

well after giving the tank some time to stabilize I realized it isnt gonna stabilize! hehe! pretty much everything has died. Im left with some really nice live rock, a pair of happy clowns, and the remnants of some corals that are holding on. The wife says she wants the tank to go. aparently I have to many tanks running right now. This is considered my sons tank, so I told her she would have to tell bryson. thinking she couldnt go through with it. next thing I know bryson comes downstairs to show me which corals in my main tank I can call mine. apparently april told him that since dady was tearing down his tank that he could have mine! He was at least generous to let me call a few corals mine.

Man I wish I had known about this before I cut you 4 acan frags!! I guess I will just grow them back out since you don't need to restock the nano...

well first off I currently have 4 tanks running, second I need those acans more now then ever, cause I personally dont own any acans anymore, bryson has a few though im hoping I can frag someday! HEHE

4 tanks! I forgot about the one downstairs ( prop tank/coral hospitol tank ) your 120 - where are the other 2?

I do have this nice colony 20 polyps or so of a nice green, purple and white stripe aussie I might split with you - for the right price of course!!

I have the 120 main tank, brysons 15 nano, 20 long hospital tank, and a 40 long growing different caulerpas and mangroves plus keeping about 75 pounds of liverock alive for my next tank. and some fish. So I guess that makes 4. i am shutting down the 20 gallon and the 15 nano, so that will leave me with 2. But im looking at setting up a aquamedic nano for a hospital tank. so maybe 3 tanks. who knows.
As for the aussie you are so graciously willing to split with me. I am gonna have to think about that one, I just dont know if I want anything youve got. Ive seen your taste in acans. HEHE! you better not mess with my half! Just ask brandon what happens to peoples tank who mess with me. Even he hasnt learned yet!
