What should I do? BTA munching on my Achilles. Do I attempt to remove the fish or leave it?

don't force out, nem will eventually try to expel , but yes if gentle pull will get it ,take out
tugging can damage mouth.
keep eye on next couple hrs, should try to release.
keep us posted... :)

That’s a shame… I hope you find another achilles. The Achilles that the nem got hold of must have been weak already as an anemone won’t normally try to eat a healthy fish unless it’s extremely hungry and not been fed in months.
 
You Sir are 100% correct. The achilles was in fact not doing well. I noticed that he got beat up a week or so ago, not sure why. Then 2 days ago I noticed it just didn't look well. I was monitoring it and was going to try to pull it out and hospital it, but it was too late. I didn't expect it to perish so soon. Bummer.
