If you test your well water ph, that will tell you how much c02 is is your well water, there's calculations for that and
@Randy Holmes-Farley can tell you how to do that.
Basically c02 isn't found in water with a ph of about 8.5 or higher, the ratio of c02 increases as the ph drops.
I would recommend testing your well water to see if a "degassing tower" (simple to make one) would be needed.
(You could also pass the ro product water through limestone chips before going into the di resin canisters)
With a BRS unit, they have separate dedicated di media bed chambers so you only replace the one that depletes instead of cheaper units that use mixed di media in a single chamber.
My stage 5 is "cation" di resin
My stage 6 is "anion" di resin ( this one depletes the quickest)
My stage 7 is "mixed with both of the di resins (this one also depletes quicker)
I may change my mixed chamber to anion, since th Is is the one that depletes way befor the cation one does.
I probably get about300 gallons (wild guess) out of my stage 6 anion camber before I need to replace the media.
