Happy Sunday,

We just purchased a 70 acre farm in Oct 2020. Please see below the well water report from Nelson Analytical Labs. I'm curious to hear from all the super experienced reefers what you think about these levels and if you see anything that will be an issue? Thought's on the PH,Calcium and or Manganese?

I've been reefing for 15+ years but as of 2010 took a 10 year hiatus and things have changed to say the least!

Please note: I will be installing a BRS 3 stage RO w/ TDS meter for all water.

The New Setup:
SPS Focused with some mixed reef. Primarily SPS/Zoa with very few LPS.
Tank: Cade 1200 S ( 110g display with 21g sump)
Fuge: Cheato + Kessil Fuge Light
Lighting: Radion G5 Pro w/ Diffusers tank mount
Skimmer: Reef Ocotpus Regal 150SSS with Varios
Return: Ecotech M2
Flow: 3-4 Ecotech MP10's
Reactors: BRS Dual Reactor plus 25w Emperor Equatics UV Sterilizer
Water: 3 Stage BRS with 2 65 gallon mixing station
Controller: Apex + Trident + Modules
Heater: 2X300w BRS Titanium

You shouldn't have a big issue after the RO. Just make sure you have a flush valve and a DI chamber bypass for flushing before each use.

Where was the water drawn from? The well or a house tap?

The copper detection limit is not as low as I'd like to see for straight use, but none was detected. If that is from a house tap, it is better than testing from the well.

It should be fine pre RO/DI. :)

The water was pulled from the kitchen sink. Thanks for the input
