Wellsophyllia in trouble?

Finally got my wellso to eat, but is it normal to have any exposed skeleton underneath it after it balloons up after eating? Worried it might have torn itself off the skeleton? If this is normal, i apologize for freaking out, I don't know a lot about wellsos.

Oh OK, that section underneath him towards the left side, where the blue flesh ends kind of looks like a skeleton to me. Is it not?

No problem. Honestly, it's a great looking coral...healthy and fat!
