Perhaps a stupid question but I've noticed a lot of vendors put their large LPSs like welsos and meat corals on stands made of pvc. Is there a reason for this? Is it to give them more space to inflate? Get flow underneath them? I've seen it a lot at fish stores even if they're not so close to each other. Some pics for reference.
