420Ca, and been steady at 10.4Alk for the last two weeks. I try to keep it around 10-11. Higher nutrient system, 10ppm NO3, 0.018 ppm PO4.

I guess it's because it's just not so straight forward as saying it's a 7 or 8 or 10 some wil say 8.3 or 7.5-8.0

I was around 10-11, then went on vacation and was precipitating, so had to reset and I'm steady at 9 for the time being until I get nitrates back up.

7 works well for me. Mixed Reef, undetectable no3 and po4. Not by choice, it just runs like that. No reactors. Just basic sump, skimmer, and filter floss.

It depends. Multiple tanks. Lower nutrients tanks 7.5 range, midrange nutrients tank 8-8.5, higher nutrients tank 9 range
