Just found this group on the site. Tonawanda transplant myself, been here since the end of September...feels like 2 weeks ago.

Victor, I found ARC recently, picked up a few things there. Some dry pukani, tonga branch ( they clearanced most of it out before the move which I missed), CUC, and for giggles a kupang damsel that unfortunately lasted 3 days. Didn't lose sleep over that one, as it was hamburger cheap and the rest of my fish suffered no ill effects.

Seems like nice and knowledgeable guys there, Ill be back.

Hello Jamestown ny here looking to get a tank somewhere between 125 and 180...already Drew up the plans for the stand and priced the wood. Can't wait to get started

Hi all! I just found this group and thought i'd resurrect this thread.
I'm in Cheektowaga, always looking for new stuff to fill in the Reefer Nano. Also thinking about a frag tank setup (don't tell my wife)
ARC is an awesome shop.

Anyone have anything they are looking to sell??

Hey!!! I am glad to here more people hopping on the way reefers page. It's pretty small group around here it seems lol. What size frag tank are you looking for?

Grow up around the Lockport, Lewiston NY area. Little town called Ransomville.
Now live in Erie PA.
Back in this hobby after being out of it for 6 yrs

Nothing in particular. I like the lagoon style tanks, but would like a place to grow out some frags as well.

Yeah tell me about it. Seems even smaller here in the Syracuse area. Seems like theres way more reefers West of me.

I may be selling an acrylic 20 gallon all in one. 24x24 inches. Depends if and when I get my 50 gallon low boy up and running

I live in Virginia Beach but I come up to the Williamsville/Clarence area for Christmas every year and I was wondering if there are any good local Reef shops to check out for Coral. I will be in town from Sunday until next Friday so if anyone has any recommendations for me to check let me know.

How are all my Western NY people’s doing in 2019? my tank has come a long way since I first posted in this thread. I’ll post an updated picture... Any chance anybody wants to trade some frags? Or if there’s any interest, we could do a hobbyist only frag swap/meet up sometime, what do all you guys think?

I get some from mystic corals in buffalo, some from wwc online. Some eBay from cornbread. I don’t have anything exotic. Tank is still new and I’m battling high nitrates.

Man I would love it if wny reefers could get together and have our own event. I've tried to suggest it to my lfs I help out. But the logistics are tough. I'd be game to try and set something up. Frag swapping and buying from other hobbyist is the best in my book

Agreed, there was a queens city frag swap back in April but I missed that event. At this point I would settle for even a couple of people getting together once a month to check out each other’s tanks and discuss topics.

Hi all fairly new here. Had been coming to the forum for a long time as a guest finally decided to get around to creating an account. If anyone is interested in attending the Flower City Frag Fest is coming up in October in Irondequoit.
