My CO2 scrubber media is always getting wet. How do you solve this?
Reef Octo 250-INT with a recirculating cap that feeds a BRS universal CO2 scrubber.
The trap thingy it comes with helps, but doesn’t solve the problem.

I don't see how the trap could help since it is downstream from the media. Is your media wet from condensation/humidity or are you pulling in foam from the skimmer cap?

The silencer in my system is placed upstream from the scrubber. I’m fairly certain that it is not foam because the water is not dirty and there is an automatic shut off switch if the foam ever gets too high.

OK I think I understand now. Out of the cap, into the trap, through the scrubber, and into the skimmer. The media does perform better in high humidity, but getting wet is a problem.

I think Ryan Chummingham (Chummingham's Reef) spoke about this problem in a Bahama LLama video and he uses a desiccant to remove the high humidity. I might be misremembering this. Could be the link below.
