Wet skim water chang

What your opinion on do water changes via wet skimming!

Thats a good way to get it done, killing 2 birds with one stone. Bunch oe people do it that way.

I don't think skim mate has the same salt content as regular water so that's where things could get tricky.

It never worked well for me when trying wet skimming but some people have had success with it.

Yesterday it was my first time doing this,i skim 40L so wet and the color of the first 20L was nasty and the second was like tee,today i make 3 test ammnonia 0 ,nitrite 0,nitrate 0 and i notes that the corals doing great,the skim was so wet and fast thats the same salinity.

But first i clean the glass and disturb the sand and blowing the rocks and when i finished the wet skim the water was clear

I think it depend on what kind of your skimmer and how powrfull it is
