Wet skimming vs. dry skimming

Hey guys,
I am interested to hear your views on skimming. Things like pros and cons of each, advantages of one over the other, your preference and why. I have heard varying options and would like to know what others think. Please feel free to add anything that pertains to this topic if I missed anything.

Personally I dry skim, wet skim removes more nutrients but also removes more salt and water. If you have a good skimmer dry skimming should not be a problem. Just a personal thing really but I don't like dumping my skimmer cup when it only
