I went 3 years without a water change just dosing and topping it off which is probably why i had 4 inches of detritus and crud when i shook my rocks on a bucket. I didn't have any corals and only one fish died a 8 year old clownfish. Even now i only do it every other month with very few issues

I hate cleaning my tank... hate it. Beyond frustrating... although I have a pretty easy set up, I wish there was a way to pump in ocean water on a constant flow to avoid ever doing water changes again!

HAHA! No way, no one is coming forward. One of my tanks is in terrible shape, GHA all over, there is only one rock that it will not stay on and that's because of a cyphastrea slowly and methodically destroying it.
I just set up a new SPS only tank and the "bad" one has been really neglected... That being said, corals are growing like crazy in it. I don't get it, but it's funny, every time I've left a tank alone for a while, things seem to do super well. Maybe I should keep my hands out of all my tanks....

Nope! Definitely NOPE!
I will have to search for a pic if I have one of a past tank. I did water changes on it, but gha was out of control, I mean like inches long. Covered everything. Was my cleanest tank though. Water was clear, nutrients were 0.
Everyone likes a clean algae free tank, but since when are these "reefs" we are trying to duplicate algae free.
Besides, I say your tank looks good.
