I am having terrible luck with Two Little Fishes AquaStik. I am at my whits end with this stuff not holding. I have about 20 or so turbo snails and this stuff is no match for them. I am losing my patience with waking up to knocked off frags every morning. And to boot my skimmer hates this stuff. It needs at least 24 hours of leaving my skimmer off before I can turn it back on. I wouldn’t be so concerned about this, but when I epoxied frags yesterday and left the skimmer off for a day, and check today and have 3 frags that didn’t hold so now if I put more epoxy on them today I’ll be looking at 2 days with my skimmer off. I’m just frustrated and looking for better options.

I use a combination of Super Glue Gel (SGG) & JB waterweld (JBWW).

Mix up a ball of JBWW and split it in half. Take one half and put a couple drops of SGG on it. Press it into the rock wherever you want to place the frag. Take the other half and put a drop of SGG on the base of the frag and press it into the 2nd ball of JBWW. Then put a couple more drops of SGG on the bottom of the JBWW and then press/mold it into the 1st part. It will set up within a couple minutes. I've never had a problem with things getting knocked off the rockwork when I use this method.

Your skimmer will go crazy regardless of what type epoxy you use. I just leave the cup off and let it do it's thing for a day or so.

I use super glue gel from the dollar tree and have no issues. Just turn the pumps off and hold the frag in place for a min or so for the glue to cure.

I use Oceans Wonders Coralline Purple Reef Safe Epoxy Putty. Difficult frag plug locations it helps and also use it for rocks / aquascape. I also use a pair of gloves when mixing it and placing the frag or rock. Seems to help a bit better and keep my hands cleaner for less cleanup after.

Recommend turning off your skimmer for a day or two after using it otherwise it will foam up a lot more on you. At least that is what I experience.
