I use a good sized bead of normal aquarium cement on both sides when I glue acrylic baffles into a glass tank.
That has always held rock solid over multiple years for me...

So plan changed I am actually doing acrylic to acrylic I am kinda doing an an addition to my sump. I am adding a sperate 2.5 gal set up for filter socks instead of making it in the tank
