Good evening,

Need some help identifying what is covering the live rocks. Is a dark burgundy color very hard to come off. The sand bed is nice and clean it’s only growing on the rocks.

Appears to be coralline algae. Good thing. Less room for nuisance algae.

I thought coralline algae was more light purple. This is a very dark burgundy color. But I was hoping for coralline
