What’s creating these tubes?

Hopefully someone can help identify this for me. I noticed these tubes on and around some GSP I have in the tank. Its now irritating the GSP and it won’t extend its polyps. Any help with this is much appreciated.

P.S.- Thats a Goni in the background. Not aptasia. Ha

Awesome. Thank you! From what I’ve read there’s nothing to worry about with sponges. Is that correct? Also will the GSP eventually start coming out again you think?

The sponges are good filter feeders and I have them as well. Not sure they are what's irritating the GSP though.

Sometimes they may be a little invasive, just peel it off if it bothering your coral.
