What’s going on with my bubble tip? Splitting?

Hey team,

My bubbletip has been happy and healthy for years. Recently it has moved to a spot directly under the light, a bit higher up than before. Since making its move (which wasn’t very far) it has lost almost all of its bubbles along with draping half of itself over a ledge - each day becoming a little longer on one side and shorter on another. It still closes completely for a bit each night but looks weird haha.

It might just be acclimating to the move. Time perhaps?

I have two long-established BTAs that are looking like this after transfer to a new tank. I'm pretty sure the problem is that the nitrate and phosphate levels are too low to support the huge populations of zooxanthellae the nems had; zooxanthellae are dying off, and the nems are not happy at all. Your nem clearly has a large population of zooxanthellae (deep dark background color), as do mine. Has there been a recent change in nitrate and/or phosphate levels in your tank? Is your nem expelling any stringy brown stuff from its mouth?
