What’s going on with torch skeleton???

Two white spots strtwd to grow in skeleton of torch. They are not soft and can not be scraped off. Any ideas

Is it glue?
You got a bunch of glue under it so could be from your finger holding it
 
Looks like it's been there for a little bit. The top has algae or something on it, it discolored the white already.
Could be glue as liddojunior said.

It’s not glue, my first post stated that it’s growing. Glue doesn’t grow. The only glue touching this coral is on frag plug
 
Then a sponge. Quite common. They like to lurk in the shade of the polyps.
 
Ah yes, missed the not soft part. Could be a calcareous sponge which is hard.
