What’s happened with this..... overnight??

Hi everyone.
What’s happened to my Kenya tree?; overnight!?
All other corals are fine. (Including my SPS’s)
Is this shedding or something eating it?
I have just discovered an aptasia next to it on looking (which has now been sorted with Aptasia X) could this be the culprit?

Hope someone can help work this out?

I would say the aptasia burned it.

They are the bane of my aquarium
at the moment! I hate them! It’s a constant battle to eradicate them

I usually jus smash them with my finger when I’d see them. You can also try squeezing super glue over there openings...but if you have a lot that could be a huge task!

Just do a small section everyday and then it won’t seem as such a huge task I think there may be certain fish that feed on them too?

Bumble bee snails could also be an answer to helping you get rid of them

Good thing is that Kenya trees are the cockroaches of the coral world, they will always come back.

So long as it doesn’t affect my SPS’s (acros, Montis etc) in any way I’ll forgive it..... for now.
I’ve been thinking about coming out of keeping softies, because of their weed-like tendencies. And just keep SPS/LPS

If the Kenya Tree heard your thoughts it may have gotten upset and started weeping because it knows you might trade it in for an SPS.

I would to. I think sps do better without softies making their water cloudy. Time to rehome that weeping Kenya and replace it with a WD.
