What’s in my filter floss

Went to change my weekly water change and filter floss and found this in my floss? Any idea what kind of worm this is?

It almost looks like a bristleworm (perhaps the fireworm variant) with its bristles being compacted, without the support of water. A picture underwater would be helpful for identification.

Thanks for the feedback. I was surprised to see it in my floss. I got rid of it otherwise I would take a pic in the water. I assume it’s probably best to not keep it in the tank. Especially since it’s a nano tank. Thanks
 
Totally does look like that. Not sure where it came from especially since I started with dry rock and the tank is a year old. Maybe came from one of my snails. Thanks
Plus side is that they are generally harmless. Could have come with a coral or snail.
