What’s in your overflow?!

so for years my corner over flow for my 60 cube has been a refuge for pods, worms, and the occasional brave (or is it dumb?) fish. Here is a look at my corner overflow and I would love to see others! Do you regularly clean it or let it go au naturale...?

The last time I looked.....some type of turf algae, spirobid worms, bristle worms and a small amount of detritus. Au naturale for me.

appys,,big ones too,,ill be cleaning them out with hot tap water this weekend with the overflow tubes hooked to a hose to the floor drain for house

I have a HOB overflow and break it down and do a thorough cleaning once a year. It gets pretty funky in there but I always find really big Aptasia. Not so much in the tank because of my CBB.

I spent most of night cleaning and draining 80 tank on my system..
Thank God all the sand is gone finally and scalded /cleaned all the appys out of my overflow...filled overflow up with very warm water and alot of vinegar to let sit overnight ..drained it today and letting air dry a all day too..all sparkly now..
