What’s my clownfish doing?

4/26:
My clownfish have been doing fine. Been a week in qt since.
They have been heading it out a little bit too see who’s more dominant I hope, 4/26 the darker one has gotten little more aggressive.
4/27:
Woke up 8 am More Orange one has looks like bruises and is acting kind of funny. I have marked in the circled. Also have 2 videos.
Orange one still eats fine, I’m thinking it’s just social pressure from some bullying.
Parameters are the roughly the same from yesterday.

I NEED some help identifying wether this is just stress related or if there is some kind of parasites or diseases. I have been only observing the fish and not proactively treating, I KNOW this topic is a inch wide and a mile deep. I also have CP, nitrifuizone, prazi pro. And ready but really nervous, and need a second opinion plz.

Is the fish always struggling to swim like that?
I don’t see signs of any particular disease (though it can be hard to spot things on white clowns), but something definitely appears to be wrong.
The bruising could be due to something we’ve seen pop up a lot recently on clowns. So far we don’t exactly know the cause, but it does not appear to be harmful (but may be a secondary condition and indicator of another infection/stressor).

There are some patterns (as already said) that show lesions on clownfish. Redness (which is what I see) - usually signifies infection - whether from a bacterial infection or a parasite. It's hard to say without more information Bullying is also a possibility - but should not result in the redness.

Just saw the videos - thanks!! Can you give some context to the first one - which to me shows a fish that is quite sick (vs confused looking at his reflection on a glass floor). I'm guessing illness.

Kinda, only for a few seconds every couple of minutes. Seems like he only does it when I’m not looking... when I sit there and look at him he rarely does it, took me about half an hour to get that video, otherwise it swims just fine. Could it be social pressure/bullying from other clown?

keep a close eye on this. While it rarely occurs with clowns, may be the start of uronema?
the breathing also appears labored which suggests low dissolved oxygen if temparature has risen of something affecting the gills as well as aggression and I see the tail fin is nipped at pretty good

The 2 videos were taken few minutes apart, he will be swimming with the other then seems like he’s resting on the bottom catching a break. Sometimes he will bang heads with the other, othertimes both do a twitching thing.
I’ve read on forms that clown fish will rest on the bottom like that and act dead, I’m not sure if that what it’s doing or if something wrong with him, any kind of parasites or infection.

I have roughly 30 gallons of the SAME water parameters if I need to do a good size water change. Is the ammonia too high? I literally changed good bit out this morning Incase it was ammonia but test reads same then as it does now. Which I don’t get bc it basically didn’t change. Unless it could build up that quick in the tank.

This does not make complete sense - unless the salifert test you're using measures 'free ammonia'. And assuming you're using a Seachem alert - its measuring free ammonia - which if its 0.15 thats 'higher' than it should be - however if that were the (only) problem - I would think all fish would be affected to a degree

4/28: Did a 100% w.c that was scheduled... following 80/20 BRSTVQT guide.
Following the water change, fish that was in question is still doing it thing, meanwhile other fish is doing fine looks like. Think I can rull out water parameters.
4/29: Today, I’m starting to think it could be flukes, should I do a heated 5 min rodi dip? Or do you think this could stress the fish out worse?
I’m prepared to do the dip.

Another video just taken, He’s doing mutch better today I believe than yesterday. Is this signs of pairing or the twitch they do when trying to get rid of fluks?

I went back through this post and I don’t have much to add. The belly sliding in the one fish could be a common developmental deformity seen in some captive raised fish. The head shaking and sidling up to each other is a dominance thing.

4/29: Skipped fresh water dip. Found out rodi isn’t way to go, instead that tap water is better. Couldn’t wrap my head around that... went ahead and did a 80% dose of prazi pro to qt tank figured why not, it couldn’t hurt more than the fw dip.
I believe that was a good choice since the fish was pretty stressed out passed few days w/ labored breathing.

4/30: Woke up 8am fish was doing a lot better, swimming with other clown. Tried feeding but it’s appetite wasn’t there this morning still interested though, probably bc prazi, other ate fine.
Went out for the day about 8pm tried too spot feed the clown lol since it didn’t eat, still no bites, still interested.
