Hi all,

What is my Nassarius snail doing in these pictures. It looks like it’s out far of its shell and wrapped round something but I can’t see what it could be.

I did drop an algae pellet but no idea if it’s eating that.

Is this just normal behaviour?

I think it was doing a number on an algae pellet as it’s stopped, turned round and buried itself leaving it for my wrasse and foxface to eat what’s left.

I didn’t know they ate algae pellets.

The sinking pellets I use have fish meal as an ingredient. My nassarius snails eat them. I assumed that they are after the fish meal rather than the actual algae, but I'm not an expert by any means

He’s enjoying the tab and I would guess trying to draw it in to shell opening
