What’s on my Chalice?

Hello!
Came down today to see these frilly things that are growing out of the center of my chalice coral. Is this normal growth? Or is this something I could be concerned about? Pic attached.

Came down today to see these frilly things that are growing out of the center of my chalice coral. Is this normal growth? Or is this something I could be concerned about? Pic attached.

This is poriferan sponge and must be removed
You can try with a dental pick or small tweezers
Also injecting with vinegar will shrink them down
