What’s on my Duncan?

Newbie here my Duncan has been closed up for about a day and today I saw this pimple on it. Is it a new head or an infection? I saw it stretching yesterday in that direction.

So you think it’s a new head? I was going to dip it to be safe just don’t want to aggravate it

To me does not look that good. Polyps can be a lot puffier and longer. Maybe it’s still acclimating.
If you list your water parameters and better pics I’m sure some peeps can help.

It looks healthy, how long have you had it?
The flesh comes down off the head, that healthy. If it starts receding, that's a problem. It doesn't look too be extended all the way but that happens from time to time.
How old is the tank?

I’ve had it for a week now and it’s been fully extended the whole time, yesterday I brought home a hammer and that’s when I notice it’s changing behavior, tank is almost 2 mos old

It’s blue hypnea. Got them under the aquaclear and have a powerhead circulating the water let me post a video

Polyps extension is not there could be from too much flow I would suggest to feed it before I dip it. I feed mine TDO B2 pellets, every other day. It should fully extend after that and will grow very fast afterwards.
