That’s beautiful!!! Oddly i have sponges with more than one opening but agree, it must have 2 to be a tunicate.This is my red tunicate, it has a smaller opening along the other side, if it has a single opening it is a sponge.

I imagine you bought it? I really like those. Oddly I saw tunicates on frag plugs at my LFS once. Never ever seen that in my life.Thanks, my blue sponge has about 12 openings but each is it's own thing / system.![]()

Definitely are. But I’m not sure how long they’ll live out of the ocean. I had tunicates hitchhike before and lasted roughly 3 months before one day completely disappearing.Those are very nice.
