I have a royal gramma named Fred. No idea why. Just popped into my head for some reason

I’ve also had some clever names I’m quite proud of - a longhorn cowfish named Bullwinkle, Toby the goby, and Spike the fire dartfish, and [Bob] Marley the mandarin.

The sergeant major or píntano (Abudefduf saxatilis)
is a species of damselfish.
It grows to a maximum length of about 22.9 centimetres (9.016 in).

Abudefduf? I can't shake that stupid name since I first heard it in Ichthyology.
