I just got dinos 2 weeks ago. One year with no issues and I installed a refugium setup and All of a sudden nutrients drop to 0! They go away at night but when day comes they come back.

I started feedijg Reef roids and phytoplankton, but stopped feedijg Coralb+. This is an effort to increase nutrients.

I’ve seen so many different stories on different methods. What worked for you? (Besides black out method) as I have SPS I don’t want to risk

Does each strand have a different method?
Kinda you can do two methods depending on size of system...without a microscope as stated above it's hard to tell exactly what kind of dino.
Method 1) if it's not that bad you can purchase a product called dino x from brs or another company, buy a cheap tank fro petco to hold your coral, then dose dino x if you have a sump temporarily shut it down clean skimmer replace filtration media replace live rock if it looks off replace filter socks, vaccum sand bed(be careful not to stir)if you have rocks take those out give a good scrub clean glass with magnetic remover or scraper.take out and clean all drains loc lines and power heads with a 50/50 mix white vinegar to tap water.
Method 2 if it's really bad you may have to manually remove it

What’s the two methods . Dino x and the other is ?

I've heard of some people using vibrant aswell, but this has vinegar in it so it may burn certain corals if you over do it so keep that in mind. I have a buddy who even swears if you use seachem pristine and vaccum the sand you can get rid of it but he has wafer algae in his dt so what does he know...I'd go with dino x and some good ol elbow grease then if that doesn't work replace the sand bed and liverock with some fresh or go barebottom

I would follow this guide and/or the main Dino thread here on R2R. They have the same methodology. Neither suggests Dino x.
