What’s this clam up to?

What’s up with this guy? He’s closed up shop and been puffed up like this for the last two days. First time I’ve seen a clam do this. I added a coral two days ago and felt like I needed to use a half stick of epoxy to get it to stay. Of course it made the tank a mess. That’s about when he closed up shop and hasn’t changed. Any thoughts?

When epoxy cures it gives off chems.

Try running some carbon if your not already and just keep an eye on it. @DSC reef

Something has definitely irritated that clam, could be the putty or the chemical make up of the epoxy. I agree with some carbon and a couple water changes might be in order. Seeing new shell growth shows the clam was doing well.
