While examining my LR rock I saw this white like worm with small tentacles coming out of it. Looks kind of like a very small feather duster. Can it be or is it something else

He said it retracted when he tapped the glass, I think it might be something entirely different.Not aiptasia, but rather a majano. They aren’t as invasive from what I’ve seen but I’d definitely still get rid of it.
Is it green or is it more clear with white balls on it? If it’s green, I’d say majano and you’d want to get ride of it. If it’s clear with white balls, it’s a ball anemone and they are fine.
Ill go with Ball Anemone, still not 100% but that seems to look fairly close.More clear with white tips.

Ball “anemones” are pretty similar to mushroom corals, definitely moreso than an anemone. I wouldn’t expect a majano to retract from a tap on the glass, but I don’t know what else it could be.
