While examining my LR rock I saw this white like worm with small tentacles coming out of it. Looks kind of like a very small feather duster. Can it be or is it something else

Yep, that’s what it is. Nothing to worry about.

Shhh. Please don’t say that. Lol. So it is then. Should I eradicate it with lemon juice or is it too small

OOPS, I meant to post that in your other thread about the feather dusters.
You confused me.

Ok so there is still hope. When I tap on my tank it retracts immediately. Maybe it to is a feather duster

Well Aptasia are not sensitive to glass taps so that is a good sign for you...:D

Not aiptasia, but rather a majano. They aren’t as invasive from what I’ve seen but I’d definitely still get rid of it.

FYI, if and when you do come across any aptasia do not wait to let them grow. They must be dealt with with force, they can be a royal PITA if you don't.

Is it green or is it more clear with white balls on it? If it’s green, I’d say majano and you’d want to get ride of it. If it’s clear with white balls, it’s a ball anemone and they are fine.

He said it retracted when he tapped the glass, I think it might be something entirely different.

More clear with white tips.

Ball “anemones” are pretty similar to mushroom corals, definitely moreso than an anemone. I wouldn’t expect a majano to retract from a tap on the glass, but I don’t know what else it could be.

Yeah,
the op might need to try to get a better shot for a more accurate answer..
