Found this little thing in the back of my middle compartment of my AIO setup I use live rubble rock back there. Wondering what it is there’s a few of them my LFS said they are mushroom coral but not to sure?

Kinda looks like a shroom. @LRT your thoughts?

Agreed by looks of foot for mushroom. Be interesting to see what you end up with here.

You think I should put it in my actual display? It’s in my filter chamber right now I was afraid it was a baby majano/aptasia or something haha

As long as rock is free from pests yes absoloutely get it in low light low flow spot and let it grow. You never know you may have a gem on your hands. One of my lfs has a ton of named pieces. All of which I already have unfortunately. They just grow all over the place at lfs though its pretty crazy.

Do thinks there’s a possibility it could be a pest anemone? It hasn’t moved since I discovered it about 5 days ago

No if I had to guess it looks like a baby disco right now. Alot kinda start out like that though. Get him in some light and see whats up for sure.

Coming from someone who raises aiptaisa and majano, that is not a pest nem for sure. Even tiny ones have a distinctive foot, disk and tentacles. Majanos with no light are also still well defined. Plus, a majano would have walked up to get to light with the quickness.

Awesome good to know I’ll move it on over forsure, that’s for the reassurance!

What do you think, still disco? I’ve moved it over to the display these are horrible cell shots. The top one circle is that mushroom and the bottom is something I’m not so sure it is but it’s a neon green and was attached to the rock as well

Honestly that was a super wild guess as far as disco goes. Only reason I guessed disco was the rim of its cap loosly resembles some of my baby discos.
Here's a baby disco for comparison-

If you see the almost webbing around cap that comes to point in between. But I've seen rhodactis start out same way.
That being said id almost bet the fluorescent blob is a baby most likely same shroom.
Baby shrooms can start out super different than mom shrooms.
Check out this mom and baby-
