What’s this furry stuff on elegance coral? It is a bit retracted because I just took it out of the water.

Really? It doesn’t look like aiptasia in person. It looks like some kind of algae? Any other possibility? Aiptasia usually don’t pop out right away after you take them out from water.

I thought maybe turf algae. Can you cut it off with the rock? Like use wire cutters or big toenail cutters.
