What’s this on sps?

this could be something obvious but ive never seem it before and I want to make sure it’s not gonna be another plague in my tank. Can someone Id this I have no idea what it is. It’s the red thing on the coral

I don't see what you are pointing to.

Could be cyano/diatoms/detritus or a mix. You could just remove it otherwise you would probably need a microscope to ID. I'm assuming you're talking about the debris towards the top left?

Yeah. I just took it out, I couldn’t tell if it was alive or not but I was just concerned that it was some sort of pest
