What’s this Whitish ring on tang?

I just noticed a white small ring looking lesion on the belly of my powder brown tang. It was fully quarantined and had been happy in the tank for 3-4 mths. It’s still actively eating and acting normal.

Pretty fish.
It could be an early bacterial infection.
Or, it could be a sting from another tang or from a foxface.
If it's just a sting it should heal up very quickly, within a couple of days.
If it doesn't heal or starts looking worse, transfer to a hospital tank with antibiotic treatment would be called for.

There’s 2 other tangs in the tank. The yellow can be a butt at times. Hoping it’s just from a squabble.
