What’s this?

Came as a hitchhiker a couple years ago and almost indestructible. Made it through 2 crashes (broken heater and house air conditioning going out).

Sweepers out all the time when fed. It used to have more heads.

It looks like a type of anemone. ALmost like aptasia except clear. #reefsquad

Gotcha. It’s never spread to anywhere

I had a big one that I thought was a BTA. It did not spread until I messed with it then I bought a matted filefish to take care of the outbreak

Is it on a large rock or a separate small rock. If you can, I'd remove the rock and then remove the aptasia so they don't spread.

There's like 20 different species of aiptasia, some more common than others, and I too agree that this is one of them I find it a bit odd that you only have that many haha

Crazy. Yep never spread anywhere in tank besides that area on the same rock. Never thought aiptasia
