What’s this?

First, I apologize for all the blue lights but it’s the only time this stuff shows up. It’s a deep maroon color and it’s not cyano. It does not scrape off and shows best in blue light. In the pic, it’s the dark patch between the green mushroom. Is this coralline in deep maroon or something else. It has been there for a while but now it’s showing up in other places too. Ideas?

If it doesn't blow off then it could be coralline algae.

That’s what I think - coralline. I have a lot of those darker colored thicker growing patches of it in my tank.

That's how it started growing in my wife's nano. Pretty cool looking.
