Hey I’ve had my tank up about 4 months or so and everything has been going good fish are growing a lot looking good color is bright but over the last couple days this new purple stuff has started to grow thought it could be coralline algae but not sure it looks a little wired

Is it hard to scrape off, or is it slimy and can easily blow off the rocks?

It soft some came off easily and some didn’t come off at all

The red stuff thats soft is probably cyano, as I thought it looked like it.

Suck it out, blow it off so your filtration takes it out.

Cyano is a nutrient issue i believe, so preventing it will come from addressing that, what are your params? But like others have said just blow it off the rock.

Everything checked at a good level I feed frozen Brian shrimp only like a quarter of the cube at a time
