Hi, Just bought a new coral- what are that red thing with white spots next to the stomatella?? not moving but wondering what it is?

Hard to tell from the photos but it could be a colony of small colonial tunicates. Does it look like this? Pycnoclavella diminuta

hmm not that, it looks like a red mushroom with white spots. cant get a better picture im afraid :/
 
At first I thought it was a damaged Discosoma mushroom but it appears to be encrusting the rock. Do you see tiny holes in it?
 
Some tunicates grow in more of an encrusting mat form. It could even be a type of benthic formaniferan. I see you're in Australia so there's numerous possibilities in your waters. It could be something unknown to the hobby.
 
If only you could get a clearer picture. I'd love to see it. Oh well.
