What’s wrong with my Blenny?

He has a spot about midway down his torso and he is scratching it on the rocks. I recently lost a firefish that had a similar looking spot.
This is a new tank. 3.5 months old. I did not quarantine. I’m setting up my quarantine tank this weekend. Obviously it’s too late for my firefish. Possible too late for the Blenny. But in the mean time I’d love to gain some experience about what it is that I’m dealing with.

Looks like a bacterial infection has set in. Important to know that they are a secondary actor caused by something else like injury, parasites, poor water quality, etc.

The bacterial infection can be treated with antibiotics like Furan2, Kanaplex, Sulfaplex.
Might want to do a freshwater dip to check for flukes first.
 
Thank you. I just ordered some Kanaplex. Will try soaking his food in it and going from there
