This is a small green birds nest coral and it looks weird. The polyps are not extended and some are black. Help Please!!

I performed a water change last night and my other birds nest corals seem fine, just not this one

The polyps look black when they are fully retracted. All sorts of things seem to cause that and can definitely be temporary. Maybe some experts can weigh in on those tips though, I can't tell whether that's growth or burnt tips.

Totally agree, retracted polyps. Looks like some slight buring or bleaching on the tips to me. Whats the lighting situation like?

It’s the stock lights. I don’t think they are bright enough to burn a coral like that.

coral looks fine to me. Just retracted polyps at the moment like others have stated. Something could of bumped it, it could be feeding , or the water change may of had an effect. Happens to my corals from time to time. I wouldn't be worried unless it stays like that for a week. Then you might have a problem with someone nipping it, or water chemistry issue.
