What’s wrong with my favia

I bought this favia coral, I didn’t notice until I got home that there was something wrong.
can you guys tell Me what’s wrong with my coral.
It’s like a little tube sticking out of a dry area?

I honestly can't tell where the tube you mention is. Is it hard or soft? How long is it? How thick is it?

Also, this is the soft coral forum. Favia is a stony coral.

Wait. I think I see it. Can't say for sure, but could be either a vermited snail or a feather duster. If feather duster, its good. If vermited... not necessarily bad per se, but will annoy corals with its mucus net. Also vermiteds spread fast, so might need to crush it before population gets out of hand.

You can super glue over it to kill it if you want.
