What’s wrong with my Frammer?

To start, all my other corals are fine and no major changes have been done to the tank recently. All my other corals are doing fine. Saw my frammer and honestly it just looks odd. If you guys know I’d appreciate it!

Parameters
Alkalinity: 8.7 dkh
Ph: 8 -8.1
Salinity - 1.026
Magnesium: 1180
Calcium: 380

Your magnesium and calcium could be a bit higher, but how is your lighting and flow? How long have you had the frammer?
I agree on the mag and calcium but honestly it’s always been right around there and it’s been fine under those conditions in the past. I’ve had it for roughly 6 months now. It’s currently in a Fluval Evo 13.5. As for flow, it’s in moderate flow (sicce 0.5 with rfg and jebao sw-2 on min settings) . lighting I have a ai prime sitting around 10 inches above the surface with this profile. Is it possible it was maybe just eating something? Not sure what else could make it look like that so suddenly

I've found that euphyllia seem really prone to bacterial ailments. Sometimes re-dippimg in something like Reef Primer helped - sometimes not. It could be something recently crawled over it and ticked it off (snail, crab).

Lighting looks good from the schedule and flow from what you described. How often do you do water changes? Is this change fairly recent as far as you can tell?
 
I've found that euphyllia seem really prone to bacterial ailments. Sometimes re-dippimg in something like Reef Primer helped - sometimes not. It could be something recently crawled over it and ticked it off (snail, crab).

I change water biweekly. It was just this morning it started acting up. It hadn’t resolved in like 3 hours, but just now it seemingly is going back to normal? Odd. I appreciate your help. Not sure what caused it honestly

get mag to 1300 and Calcium to at least 400 as calcium important for euphyllia. Since they are a large polyp stony coral, calcium and alkalinity are two very important water parameters that will affect the growth of your coral. This coral will start to die off if the calcium levels are too low. A calcium level of about 400 ppm is just right.
This coral species isn’t terribly picky when it comes to the proper placement in your tank. The trick would really be just to avoid the extremes. Avoid extremely bright locations or areas of very high current, and avoid areas that are too dark or with currents that are too low. Fast currents risk damaging the soft, fleshy polyps (and getting an infection). Bright lights will cause bleaching. Insufficient lighting will cause the frammer coral to wither away and starve to death.
Frammer corals only require a moderate amount of light for photosynthesis and can grow well in the intermediate regions of your tank. Just about any reef LED lighting should be sufficient for most tanks. Reduce white light intensity and get it off the sand bed which sand can irritate it.
The polyps should sway in the current, but not sustain so much pressure they are constantly bent over their skeleton. Too much flow will tear the polyps (worst case) and cause the polyps do not extend in the first place (best case). So, don’t give them too much flow.

I appreciate the lengthy response! Luckily it seems to be recovering so I do not want to mess with it that much just yet! However I did dose magnesium and calcium (slowly) and plan on gradually dosing it until it reaches a higher level. Once again thank you so much for your help!

As I (and @vetteguy53081 suggested), raising your calcium and magnesium levels up a bit couldn't hurt in the long run. I like to have my calcium around 450 and magnesium around 1450 (that way, it gives me a bit of wiggle room in case my parameters drop).

For the most part, water changes should replenish the bulk of this without having to necessarily get a dosing setup. For the odd time where you actually need to dose, manually adding something like Red Sea's Foundation line works really well (as it is a small tank).

Glad to hear your frammer has resumed it's path to brilliance (my feeling is that something may have been temporarily disturbing it).

Is this happening to my Frammer because of too low calcium and magnesium? I have red sea AB+ and magnesium in route and I know I need the levels up ASAP. I will continue to get my nitrates lowered as well. Everyone was doing fine but perhaps a few months with too low of nutrients is finally affecting all my corals. Please help and advice I don't want to loose my expensive Corals. I do have a black long spine but it doesn't eat them just occasionally crawls over them, but it has never caused them to react like this.

Coral itself looks fairly good. Low calcium *you want at least 400) would be a culprit as well as excess light intensity which too much zooanthellae can be produced as it is the corals color and energy source. If the coral appears to be pooping, its likely expelling the excess zooxanthellae.
