I’ve had this amazing tank over the past 2 years. Nothing wrong and everything growing flawlessly. But recently, my hammers have started to act up. One of them has a concerning symptom I need I’d. Here is a photo but some descriptions is that the tentacles and mouth have these white beads that float within the coral. They tend to rise to the top of the coral. Almost looks like floating sand.

Following! What does the skeleton look light when it's sleeping? Do you spot feed? If so what type of response do you get from that area?

Is it all your hammers? Did you try to dip and blow it out? You are still achieving great inflation so it doesn't appear irritated. Is there newly exposed skeleton? Could be baby amphipods, but that sounds doubtful.

I do not spot feed or feed this coral.

My other hammers are just fine. I did not blow it out or dip it because the Skelton is attached to the live rock. I have no idea what it looks like at night I will have to check. And there is no exposed skeleton.

Update on the hammer. The white marbles inside the coral have almost gone away but the coral is still a little shrunken up. I am very confused as to why it did this. My other hammers are doing amazing and splitting like crazy. So much as the coral has 15+ heads but the same amount of tentacle mass as when it has 4 heads.
