Hey everyone, I recently got this colony of zoas and discovered that there were a few heads of Aptasia on some of the zoas. Despite that all the polyps were opening and the colony looked happy. About a week ago I tried plucking the aptasia off but couldn’t really get it. since then I haven’t seen the aptasia but the past few days half of my colony hasn’t been opening and as you can see in the picture a couple of the polyps turned white and shriveled. Has anyone dealt with this before? I don’t think it’s pox but also I don’t know what else it could be. Thanks for the help

Guessing they are just hiding due to the disturbance of the Aptasia, assuming all you water parameters are in check.

Probably not what you want to hear but I've had 1 or 2 polyps in a colony just kick the bucket randomly and the rest of the colony keeps expanding like nothing happened. Hopefully it hasn't spread to the rest by now. Good luck !
