What’s your po4 and no3 goals?

I just got my tank down to 2ppm NO3 and trace PO4(Hanna LR Phosphate tested 0 last check, Red Sea was barely tinted) corals are looking good. I run carbon and gfo, but I'm about to switch to chaeto reactor. I also feed my fish heavy for how much I have stocked.

I can say that every system is different and to go off of what your coral look like then what the test results say.

Agree. But if u see something looks like ****, you have to test to see what is causing it to look like ****

A guy who has a very nice tank with phosphate around 1 ppm. He is currently experimenting by lowering it.

I just tested the water of my lfs and the nitrates were over 100 ppm!!!!

Lol yep. Only had to for 3 days. Now I’m keeping it around .03 with just feeding mysis and a lot of reef roids every single day
