On my glass near my water line just now. I thought it was a baby snail at very first glance because I’d found some other babies on the glass in the last few days. Then I took a closer look. Def not a snail lol. Kinda had these weird green “spines” off its back. Weird looking.

Put it in sump until it gets bigger if you have one until it can be properly identified as to the type of nudi. some can and will kill/eat coral

I saw it and removed it from the tank. Just in case I couldn’t find it again and it was bad. Just curious if it was something I should be worried about. It was SUPER tiny. Like a cm or two tops.

Yeah… def a baby one. What worries me.. where’s momma or bros and sisters?! Have you added anything to the tank recently?

Yeah that’s what I can’t figure out. I haven’t added anything in 2-3 weeks. And I dip all my new corals. Nothing came off the last one, but a zoa I added about a month ago had a pretty big worm looking thing fall off. I thought it was a brown coral eating flatworm. But it’s possible it could have been a nudi. Although it looked nothing like this (no green flags on the back). So I dunno where the rest of the fam is. Most of my corals are doing great. I’ve got some green dragon eye Zoas that have closed up for about 5 or so days now. But I can’t see any pests on it. They closed the day after I moved the rock they were on and changed my lighting schedule. Everything else is doing good.

What kind of corals do you have?
1 frogspawn
1 torch
1 pulsating xenia
1 favia (I think?)
3 zoas

nothing added in the last 2 or so weeks.

Aight. I was lucky I caught this one. Forgot my meds at home so I came back at lunch and happened to check on my Zoas and saw this on the glass.

The color on the one in your photo is pretty green. And since you caught it on your zoa's and they are not doing well. I say there might be more on them using them as food. Find some pics and compare to what you found.

not my photo, look up zoa eating nudibranch.
That’s the one, looks like. Really hoping the dip just didn’t kill it and that’s the only one. I’m taking my zoa rock out this weekend and dipping the whole thing. Maybe that’s what’s aggravating my dragon eyes.

how long should I dip corals when they go in? The dip bottle says around 15 min. How long can/should they stay in the dip solution?

I would follow directions, I don't think dips work on eggs. You'll need to keep your eyes open. Grab whoever pops up. Hopefully, that's the only one .

I’ve never had zoa eating nudis, but I have had monti eating nudis a few times now. If they’re anything like them….You need to remove and dip every couple days to account for the newly hatched ones.

Dips don’t kill eggs… you can dip for up to 30mins at almost twice the dose on some probs, but since this isn’t bacterial I wouldn’t dip that long. A good 15 min should work. Keep a toothbrush handy and scrub when you pull out of the dip to knock off any hiding eggs while the corals are closed up, rinse in some fresh rodi before putting back in tank and check the water thoroughly… could’ve taken the 2-3 weeks for that little guy to hatch and he’s been in there grazing the whole time. Once on a coral, nudis are HARD to spot… hence the coloration and plumes that come from the back and head areas. There’s a hammer eating nudi that looks EXACTLY like a hammer coral. If it didn’t crawl, you wouldn’t know the difference aside from the lack of bottom skeleton. Some people think their hammer is just sprouting a new head until it’s too late
