I will have a AquaUV 57 watt UV Sterilizer for an upcoming tank. In case any ich gets through QT, I want to be ready.

The total tank volume will be about 150 gallons.

What µw/cm2 do I need to shoot for? That should help me figure out the flow rate right?

"Classic 57 watt
Saltwater Flowrate – 1066 gph for 90,000 µw/cm2"

While you do not want slow rate, you want the water to pass through the UV column at a slow to slow moderate rate

I'm not really sure what you mean. Do not want slow. But you want slow?

If I know the µw/cm2 that affects ich, then it would be an easy math problem to figure out how much flow to push through it right?

Slower, not fast. Just saying, not too slow. Ive never measured my flow but goes into housing at a moderate rate

Thanks for the thoughts. Without actual flow rates, I have no idea what you mean by slower, moderate, etc. Unless I'm missing something, I'm not sure how I can take this and understand the flow rate I need?
